The pitch

Alderun is a free-to-play real-time strategy/RPG where you take the field as a hero. Choose your champion — a holy knight, a dark summoner or a marksman with a wolf at your side — and lead your forces into battle. Hold a fortress through waves and boss fights, line a pass with towers before the horde arrives, or face another hero in a duel.

Play solo against the AI or take the fight online. Host a game, join a friend with a code or enter a quick match. Your teammates and opponents can be on PC, on a phone or in a browser.

The Crossing

Push through three lanes to the enemy citadel, farm creep camps, contest runes and fight for Kharzum, the pit boss.

Banners of the Gulch

Steal the enemy banner and bring it home through the gatehouse and across the gulch while the other team hunts you.

Frostvale

Capture graveyards and bunkers to advance through a frozen valley until the enemy General stands exposed. Rimefang holds the ford.

The High Pass

Fight ten a side over keeps, an altar and the frozen twin fords. Grom the Ember Lord stands between the armies.

Hold the walls through escalating waves and boss fights, or build a line of towers before the horde arrives.

Settle it in the gladiator pit: hero against hero, alone or with a teammate.

Angles worth covering

One match across devices. Show a PC player, a phone player and someone in a browser taking part in the same 5v5 battle.
Hero-led strategy. You command an army while fighting as a hero on the field, combining RTS battles with skill trees, equipment and character progression.
From one player to twenty. Solo fortress defence, a 5v5 lane push and a twenty-player battle share the same world of units and heroes.
Play along with your audience. The free browser build lets viewers join the game during a stream without installing it.
Meet the battlefield’s characters. Kharzum in the pit, Rimefang at the ford, Grom the Ember Lord on the pass and King Osric at Frostvale.

Working with us

Steam keys provide pre-launch access ahead of the 16 November 2026 release. Android and the browser build are free and do not require a key.
For campaign offers, coverage is expected within 21 days of accepting an offer.
Creators who meet the campaign’s audience threshold are approved automatically; other requests are reviewed individually.
There is no embargo on the Android or browser builds. Steam coverage is welcome as soon as you claim a key.
